BehaviorMinder™ Overview

Process

This website will automate the collection and reporting of the BehaviorMinder exercise. To use this website, you will first need to be registered by filling out a registration form.

You are the participant. The people who you ask to complete a form are the respondents.

Step 1
set up a respondent. You may send this person an e-mail invitation sending them a hyperlink to the forms to complete online or you may print a custom response form that they can fill out and return to you.

Step 2
You will need to complete the form for each respondent you invite by clicking the link in your to do list.

Step 3
Once each form is complete for a particular respondent, a BehaviorMinder report can be generated for you and that person. Reports are accessible under the reports heading on the main menu.

The paragraphs below will help you in more detail.

The Behavior Minder [TBM] is a simple tool that will empower you with an enhanced Awareness of your Behaviour and its Consequences‹‹your ABCs, the key building blocks of all win:win relationships. Extensive documented empirical research and the personal experiences of tens of thousands of others like yourself world-wide have yielded the 48 behaviours selected to be at the core of TBM. These behavioral tools, when coupled with an unwavering heart-felt intention to take 100% accountability for our 50% of each relationship, become the backbone of organisational cultures focused on excellence.

Here are the simple steps you'll need to follow to experience this power for yourself.

(1) Go to our web at www.temenosinc.com/
(2) Click on Welcome to Temenos, Inc.
(3) Click on Behavior Minder
(4) Click on Interactive Demo
(5) Click on Here To Register as a new user.
(6) COMPLETE EVERY FIELD ON THE REGISTER SHEET [USERNAME AND PASSWORD ARE GENERALLY BEST DONE in lowercase]and then Click on Register.

The Behavior Minder Menu for [YOUR NAME] should then pop up.

(7) Under Utilities, Click on Set up/invite a new respondent.
(8) You can formulate any accompanying e-mail message you'd like to your New Respondent in the space provided. Our suggestion would be that you stress at least two brief points: a) That there are NO right or wrong answers, only Frequency perceptions [DO STRESS THAT THEY HAVE TWO PARTS TO COMPLETE.] b) You will get back to the person after you'd studied the results yourself and have a chat with them about what you think you've learned.
(9) When you return to the Menu page, you will now see under the To Do Lists column, a reminder to you [Your To Do List] to complete your portion of the ABCs Questionnaire for the Respondent from whom you just invited feedback.
(11) Complete this questionnaire and BE SURE TO CLICK SAVE THE RESULTS.
(12) When your Menu indicates that your Respondent's To Do List has been completed by the person, you will then be able to print the appropriate Report.

How do I use the demo?

Go to the following web page
http://www.temenosinc.com/bm/BehaviorMinder/

Register for a demo by choosing the option in the grey box
(If you are a demo user who is returning, you click on Returning Users; remember your login name
and password)

Complete the registration form, and make a note of your screen name and password
After you have accepted the terms and conditions you will go straight to your personal Main Menu
Screen

Invite someone to give you feedback by clicking on the Set up / Invite a new respondent in the
Utilities section; complete the form
NOTE: While you can invite a respondent via e-mail only, we strongly suggest you take a moment
and give the person a call. Explain that you are seeking their honest feedback and that you will
share the results with them when you are finished.

As soon as you Invite a Respondent, the To Do Lists in the middle column of your Menu page will
indicate two things: a) that you have to click on the entry in Your To Do List and complete your
portion of The Behavior Minder questionnaire ; and b) whether or not the Respondent from whom
you have sought feedback has yet completed their portions of The Behavior Minder. This will be
indicated in the Respondents’ To Do List.

Important note: until you and your respondent have both completed your respective portions in
their entirety, your reports column (far right) will continue to say that “there are no reports”. More
often that not, this indicates that your respondent may have failed to answer all 48 items, from
both an observe frequency perspective and a more, less, same desired perspective.

Go back to the main menu and complete your part of the feedback, as listed under your To-Do List
In this demo, your respondent must complete their part of the form within two weeks. To get back
to your main screen after you have logged off, you will need to use your screen name and
password.

When your respondent has completed their parts (both observe and desire) of the form, then a
report will be generated automatically (on the right of the screen)

What do I do if I forget my password?
Contact the Behaviour Minder System Administrator at tembmind@lava.net

What do I do, step-by-step, once I have signed on?
If you are a demo user – see above

If you are a fully Licensed User, you have been issued a User Code number, by either the
Temenos’ Behavior Minder System Administrator OR a Client Administrator within your own
organisation

  1. Invite someone to give you feedback; they must complete TWO questionnaires
  2. Complete your part of the questionnaire as noted under your To-Do List (after you have
    invited someone)
  3. When both of you have completed your parts, a report is generated automatically. Log on
and go to your Main Menu and select the report. You then have a number of reports. Print
    these.
  4. Agree a time to discuss the contents of the report with your respondent; and carry out your
    feedback session.

Why doesn’t a report appear?
Your respondent must complete both the Observe AND the Desire parts of the questionnaire. You
can see if anything is outstanding by looking at your Respondent’s To-Do List (centre of the screen
on the main menu). There is an icon you can choose to send them a reminder email, or more
preferably, you can give them a call.

Check you have completed your actions under your own To-Do List

How can I remind my respondent to complete their questionnaires?
The best way so to call the person. If you prefer to send an electronic message then you can log
on to your Main Menu and in the centre of the screen there is a Respondent’s To-Do List section
which lists all the outstanding actions for your respondents. Click on the email icon and a reminder
will be sent automatically.

How will I know when a report is ready?
You will need to log on and check progress. When a Report is ready to be viewed/printed, you will
see the name of the Respondent appear in your Reports column (far right). There are three main
reports related to each Respondent:

  • A short Executive Summary
  • An Intensive Individual Analysis
  • A Call to Action.

Simply open the report you’d like to view. Read it and then print it if you’d like.

How do I print the report?
Use the printing option available from your browser.
